Music has been proven to help children develop not only their creativity but also other talents such as reading and math. An orchestra rehearsal setting provides with an excellent environment for youth to develop their social skills and to learn values such as teamwork, trust, and the pursuit of collective excellence.
Your contribution will give a priceless opportunity to children and youth from the most underprivileged neighborhoods in Haiti, Jamaica and Saint Lucia to realize their full potential in life.

The Ecole de Musique Sainte Trinite has been completely obliterated by the earthquake. The Program was left without a home and without musical instruments. This catastrophe vanished the hopes of many disadvantaged youth who found in OASIS a place to relate with others in a fun and stimulating environment.
In addition to joining efforts with the Ecole de Musique Sainte Trinité for its reconstruction, the Program is following different paths in order to bring back music to the neighborhood of Bel-Air.

The OAS Orchestra Program in the Caribbean, also known as OASIS Caribbean, is geared towards contributing to the reduction of risk factors that result in violent behavior among youths.
The Program redirects children and youths’ spare time to an activity that takes advantage of their inherent strengths and talents via a systematic orchestral and choral training program.

Rebuilding Sainte Trinité
The Youth Orchestra Program in Haiti experienced a major setback when the Program’s host school, the Ecole de Musique Sainte Trinité, was destroyed during the 2010 earthquake.
Since the OASIS program started, Sainte Trinité served as a venue for the disadvantaged youths of Bel-Air. If we put our efforts together we can bring back the program and help rebuild the school.
